On the north eastern tip of Colombia, somewhere in the midst of the Tropic of Cancer, lies the gorgeous coffee port of Santa Marta...Imagine a cup of this dark coffee coursing through your veins after a hot tropic night!
Our darkest roast, the bean is roasted until the natural oils are brought to the surface but are never "burnt." Italian roast comes from the dark roasting style which is common in Southern Italy (coffees in Northern Italy are lighter). This is the richest most intense and darkest roast we offer and is ideal for home espresso machines.
